Thank you so much for all the kind words about keeping up the blog, and for reading my blog all these year. I really can’t believe that it has been 8 years now.
After much prayer and thought, I have decided that blogging is still in my future. I even prayed and asked God to help me find a blogging program. I think I have found one. This post will be the true test to see if it works well, and makes blogging smooth and easy.
I just want to say thank you to all of you blog readers who have followed along with me and my family. I am excited to keep JandA&Co. going, and happy to have y’all along for the ride.
I am also thankful for prayer, and divine inspiration that leads us through life.
We studied this scripture passage today in church.
1 Nephi 3:7
“7 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.”
Although I haven’t been specifically commanded that I have to blog. I know that the Lord would like me too. I know that he will always help us find a way to do the things which he desires us to do.
I know that prayer works. I also know that God has a plan for each of us.
I also know that he loves me. I know that he has numbered the hairs on my head. I know that he wants me to be happy.
Blogging makes me happy.
When I was struggling with this decision, my cousin told me to ask myself what my motivation with blogging is.
I have thought a lot about that question. I have decided upon 2 things that motivate me.
1. to share goodness
2. to meet new friends; like you
Thanks for being here, and supporting me all this time.
Hugs to all of you.
Andrea

I am so happy you decided to continue blogging. Enjoy your treat:) XX
I have read your blog off and on for many years. I love reading blogs but having one isn't my thing. I too am an LDS mother and I enjoy your spin on motherhood, home management and decorating. Your two desires from blogging are beautiful. The Lord truly will guide us to what we should do if we will listen.
Yea!! I have been a silent reader for a long time :)
What did you find will solve the problem? I tried to post something last week and couldn't get Windows Live Writer to talk to Blogger anymore! Is that the problem you were having? Anyway, I would love to hear what you're using now. SO GLAD you're still blogging! I still love it, too, and am hoping to post a little more this year.
