Help!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.  I can't believe it is over.  I am still puttering around my house putting things away.  I am ready to give this house a face-lift.  It needs some ORGANIZATION, and de-junking.

I need some help here.  I am having some blogging struggles.  After weeks of doing mucho research, it turns out that the publishing program I use to blog; no longer connects to Blogger.  In fact, none of them connect any more.  Blogger, blog, blogger!! Fix this problem.  Ugh!!

Any hoo!! I am trying to decide if this blogging thing is worth it any more.  Using Blogger will probably take more time, and will not look as desirable as I would like on my site.

Do people even read blogs anymore?

I'm not sure?  Especially those of us who are not working professional blogs.  I don't have regular content, so I know I am not a blog that people follow regularly.  I am one of those mommy bloggers.  You know, like we used to be before it became about business.  I blog to keep record, and share goodness.

In fact, this fall I decided that I would no longer blog, and just use the time to scrapbook instead; which is essentially still record keeping, right? Well, after some prayer on the subject, I felt that God wanted me to keep blogging.

I know that blogs are used for so much good.

....so what I am asking is? is this the end of the road for JandA&Co.?

No! I am not leaving this decision up to you, but I would really love for you to weigh in.

...and, I will not be offended if you say that blogging isn't worth it anymore.  I won't have hurt feelings if you say that it is a waste of my time, and not a blog many are even interested in.  It is honesty that will help my decision process.

I would love to hear how you feel.  Do you think that this blog is being used for good? Is that why I have felt the pull from God?  Is this worth it for me to keep this up, and work out the kinks in blogger?

Or, is it time to put my efforts somewhere else?

Also, if you know of a way around this little situation with blogger, I would love to know about that too.

I also know that I can move my blog to a new site.  Is that worth it?  Anyone know?

If so, and it costs money; is it worth it for me to move ahead with that when I am not a professional blogger?

Please weigh in, and help me know what to do?
With love, blogger for 8 years now(this month)
Andrea of JandA&Co.

I enjoy reading your blog. I've been following along since before Tess. I enjoy the religion aspect, the family time ideas, and especially how you decorate! I can see where it would take time, but even you're only doing it sporadically, i would still stop by to check in!

I still read your blog! I have it in feedly, so it shows me when you have a new post. Your blog is so beautiful and inspiring - but I totally understand if you need/want to use your time differently now.

Instagram has taken over my blogging - it's quick & easy and documents our everyday! The reason I started blogging was for digital memory keeping & connecting with others. Now it's just Instagram. Plus with the simplicity of Chatbooks it can all be preserved in books that my girls love to look at. It's what's right for you & your family.

I think you and Kristin are the only ones on my blog list that update often. I always read them but I can understand your dilemma. I have wanted to start back on my blog but it's been 2.5 yrs now and I just don't find time to sit at my laptop and do it. I do love instagram and I find it easier to post often since my main camera is my phone! Whatever you do I'll still connect with you. I do enjoy your diys and crafts. Fyi..I loved tessa's fast motion dance moves today!!! Lol. I love that little girl!!

I frequent your blog regularly and always get EXCITED to see a new post!! You inspired me constantly. Your faith, your family traditions and you've made a huge impact on my decorating. For all occasions, parties and made me realize that I CAN have a beautiful home on a budget. It's a work in progress but I've completely transformed my downstairs. I really hope you are able to continue blogging!!!!!

I love reading your blog, Andrea! I love seeing your beautiful children and the pretty decor and pictures that you take. I love seeing your home and how you decorate it. I've got lots of inspiration from your blog. I still read a ton of blogs whether they post every week or not. It's just a hobby of mine that I enjoy in my "me" time. I even had my own family blog and I also digi scrap. I have let me blog updating go but I still keep my kid's scrapbooks up and post on social media. So I feel like I just blog differently. Please keep blogging as long as you feel like you want to share more of your life and home!

I love your blog and follow it regularly. I am always thrilled when I open the icon and see that you have a new post. Anyway, you are a wonderful example to many people so I say "keep it up." (My niece uses WordPress and really likes it. Not sure if it will work with your program or not.)
