Lost

SO.... it is finally here. The fourth season of 'Lost', and I am missing the season premiere. I am selflessly waiting for my husband to get home so that we can watch it together. It is killing me, but I'll do it for him. He has been so busy with residency interviews, and being on call for his OB/GYN rotation. I have honestly only seen him for a few hours in the last ten days. I miss him and want him to be home. He is off this weekend so I look forward to spending some time with him. The kids do too. He has one more interview, and then he is done. He can stop racking up his frequent flyer miles! He has had 13 interviews in all. This has been such an overwhelming task. Now on to the bigger task of selecting where we think is the best fit.
I look forward to having him home again, so we can snuggle up on the couch and watch 'Lost'. This is one of our constants each week. It is time that I look forward to, because we do it together.

Sock him a laugh

Yes, it takes throwing socks at our baby to get a good laugh. Actually, he laughs at most things. The older two thought this was very funny so I thought you might get a kick out of seeing him giggle. Enjoy!!

A piece of my heart

Since I am now into digital scrapbooking, I decided to make a Valentine for Jex's school class. Here is how it turned out. Isn't he handsome. I just printed them in 4X6 prints, and he will include a treat with it.

Dinosaur Dig

Jex got this fun dinosaur dig kit for Christmas. He thought it was so fun to be a real live archeologist, and dig for dinosaur bones. When he found all the bones, we got to put it together. Then he painted the whole thing. It kept him entertained for the whole day. He just had to finish it. I told him that he could spread it out over a few day. Oh no, he needed to get it done. I wonder who he takes after? It couldn't be me.

My baby can't be five months already

I can't believe my baby is five months old. He is so much fun. I think baby number three turned the light bulb on for me. I finally understand what it means to enjoy your children. He is grabbing at his feet, trying to roll over, and laughing all the time.

What's Cookin?

Stella got a big box full of baking items for Christmas. It was a nice consumable gift that allows us to spend time together. Our plan was to bake while Jex was at school. We have done it once, and she asks almost every day if we can bake again. However, we can only handle so many baked goods in the house at once. She loves to help in the kitchen so I shouldn't have been surprised by her abilities. I was amazed at how good she was at it. I just let her roll with it. She did everything but crack the eggs. She even used the cookie scoop, and placed them evenly on the pan. She loaded them with pink frosting, and pink sprinkles of course. Then asked which neighbors we could share them with. It was so cute. I love that she wanted to share her talent with others. I am grateful for this day, and sharing in teaching moments with my children.

Life on Saba

My Friends have just introduced me to digital scrapbooking. This is my first album. It is all about our life on Saba. What a life it was. I am glad I can share part of it with you.
