Today is the day that marks Ten Years with the love of my life. I can't believe that we have been married for ten years.
I remember the day before we got married. I stopped by his house to drop something off, and he came running down the stairs. He had athletic shorts on, and his socks pulled up to his knees. He went sliding across the floor in the kitchen and said, "We are getting married tomorrow."
The days since that have been filled with so much love, adventures, trials, and bonding. We have grown so close. It has granted us a life together that I never dreamed of. It has exceeded my expectations.
We have been blessed with 3 beautiful children, and one more on the way. We have lived in Utah, Kansas, Arkansas, and the Caribbean. We have spent most of the ten years extremely poor, but so rich in other ways.
When I married him he was my best friend. He is still that today. I am grateful that Ten Years ago I had the good sense to marry the man I called, "My Best Friend."
In honor of our many milestones, we went on a Caribbean Cruise.
We had a great time. We went to the Cayman Islands, Isle Roatan(of the coast of Honduras), and Belize. It was an amazing week. I am thankful that I had time some time all to myself with just Jonathan. I love the kids, but sometimes it is nice to be with each other and have no distractions.
We did some exciting things, including: Snorkeling, swimming with Sting Rays, Deep Sea Fishing, and plenty of Rest and Relaxation.
I have to give a shout out to my sister Lindsay who made it possible for us to go. She came and watched the kiddos for us. Thanks Lindsay for being a great surrogate mother. The kids miss you.
I love you Jonathan. Thank you for the fun week, and the amazing TEN YEARS!!

Isaac woke up to this today; and was in Heaven who would not want a Tractor digging up your front yard? Every boys' dream; to stand at the window and watch them dig up your yard.
Why? where they digging up our yard? Well, LIGHTENING hit our yard this weekend, and hit the Sewer line. So... for 5 days, our yard has been draining sewer, and smelling like sewer. Yes, you heard me... LIGHTENING.
They found the broken pipe clear under the driveway. Here is the mess they made:
Here is them retrieving the pipe: Here is the Pipe:
This is why it is a Grown Boy's Nightmare!! Poor Jonathan has worked so hard on our yard. It is the prettiest and most well-kept in the neighborhood. While I was in Utah he did some nice landscaping, and worked so hard. Now he is left with this... Sorry Honey!! I hope you can get some sleep tonight.

Well I can't really say today, because it is midnight. Jonathan went to play Church Ball, and I had a little energy. I have been reading scrapbook magazines today, and couldn't wait to get back at it. This is something I truly enjoy doing. I have not felt like it at all. I hope this is a good sign that the "REAL" me is about to come back. I just have to share because this is a huge step in pregnancy for me. It really says something about my well-being.
I had to show these two side by side because of how the picture connects the two pages together. Here they are a little bigger:
Only six more spreads until Isaac's first year book is complete!! YEAH!! ... and he is only almost TWO!!
Anyway, I hope this inspires you to make some time for yourself. Find time to do whatever it is you LOVE!!

Well if you can call it brief... I just wanted to share a few pictures of what has happened in the last few months while I have been on personal leave. I need to add this all strictly for history sake.
In late March, Jonathan's parents came for a visit. They pretty much spent their time taking care of the kids since I was out of commission for a while. They could not have come at a better time. It seemed like the worst of my sickness had come. I read that your sickest time is 9-12 weeks. I was about 9 weeks when they came and felt like I had been hit by a Mac Truck. I remember telling Jonathan, "I only feel good when I am sleeping." So I slept a lot. They made meals, and filled the freezer. They also played with the kids, and we enjoyed some chatting. We did get out on a few occasions. We took the kids to the zoo, and Jonathan and I decided to take the kids more often, so we bought a season pass. It was a nice visit with his parents.
Then, on Easter weekend we had more visitors. The Moes family came for a visit. We were so excited to have them. I was thrilled to have someone to commiserate with, since she is expecting also. I think are husbands enjoyed getting away from all of our complaining, I bet they enjoyed complaining about us. We had some great Easter celebrations while they were here. The Easter bunny came and hid the kids' baskets. We had an egg hunt, colored eggs, and had a silly string fight. It was so nice to have someone to help with all the traditions that must go on even when you feel under the weather. It also helped keep the kids entertained for a few days. It was a nice visit.
The day after Easter, we got up at 3:30am and headed for the airport for a trip to Utah. I pulled Jex out of school for 2 weeks. The school was not very happy about that, and stated that they may have to send social services to the house. I just laughed and laughed about that one, so did his Kindergarten teacher.
We had a great visit in Utah. I took the kids by myself. Jonathan had to stay and work. He had such a busy month that we thought it would be a good idea for me to go and have help while I didn't feel well. We spent one week with his parents and one week with mine.
I enjoyed eating at all my favorite Utah restaurants. Hanging out with family and friends, going to play, taking a bread class, and shopping. The kids enjoyed time with their cousins, sleepovers with aunts and uncles, playing the Wii, playing in the snow, and eating their favorite Fat Sticks.
While we were in Utah, Stella and I had a girls day with my mom and sister. We went and had pedicures, and then Stella had her ears pierced. She has been asking for quite some time. I thought this was a great day. She did beautifully, and looks adorable.
The highlight of my trip was finding out that my sister is expecting a baby. She is due three weeks after me. This is the first cousin on my side. I am so happy for her and Jared.
We are glad to be back home and settling in. It won't be long till we are off on more adventures. Such is the life.
