{Every Grown Boy's Nightmare; Every Little Boy's Dream Come True.}

Isaac woke up to this today; and was in Heaven who would not want a Tractor digging up your front yard?  Every boys' dream; to stand at the window and watch them dig up your yard.Dream

Why? where they digging up our yard?  Well, LIGHTENING hit our yard this weekend, and hit the Sewer line.  So... for 5 days, our yard has been draining sewer, and smelling like sewer.  Yes, you heard me... LIGHTENING.

They found the broken pipe clear under the driveway.  Here is the mess they made:

Here is them retrieving the pipe:  April 2009 006Here is the Pipe:

This is why it is a Grown Boy's Nightmare!!  April 2009Poor Jonathan has worked so hard on our yard.  It is the prettiest and most well-kept in the neighborhood.  While I was in Utah he did some nice landscaping, and worked so hard.  Now he is left with this... Sorry Honey!! I hope you can get some sleep tonight.

That's crazy! I feel bad for Jonathan too. Yards are so much work then to have to dig one up! I'm glad it was just your pipe the lightening hit and not your house!

How scary! How sad! At least someone in the family thought it was a dream come true!

How awful to smell sewer!

Let's hope lightning doesn't strike twice in the same spot! :)

How crazy! And sad:( What a mess! I LOVE the pages you did of Issac. You inspire me everytime I check in on your blog, besides I am nowhere near as gifted as you are with creativity! Your new header kills me. It is the sweetest thing, your kids are so so cute. Hope you are feeling good!
