I think about those times often and how much you and Jonathan have grown since then. Heavenly Father gives you moments like this because He knows you will learn from them. You are so good about that. You have been given very special gifts and you always do the right thing with them. It made me reflect upon my adult life as well and give thanks again for the difficult times that have strengthened my testimony and made me who I am today. Sometimes you just want people to know that you are NOT that same person you were at 16. Thank heavens!!!Danielle Spanglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00089540464426677931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4750081147518887207.post-81448123679343328762011-04-06T23:42:07.371-05:002011-04-06T23:42:07.371-05:00Great Post. Poor little guy. Your last picture is adorable. I love how Jex and Stella are like best friends. It reminds me of Taylor and Bridger. What you said it right. The best thing you can give your kid is a sibling. Today I had to. Your post is EXACTLY what I am going through now. My husband and I moved to an island 8 months ago and its so crazy here- so different than living on the mainland. Of course none of my friends or family "get it" because they think I must be sitting on a tropical island sipping mai tai's and watching the sunset. That couldnt be further from my reality! Life here is not as archetic as you describe with the laundry and all that, but nonetheless, it is C.R.A.Z.Y and such an adjustment. The first several months I literally cried every night to go "home". I have prayed that I get to the point where you said you cried when you left. I hope that transistion happens for me. I am still waiting for my "defining" moment here- I know its coming- its just so hard to see it when you are stuck in the middle of it all. Thanks for your post. For the first time in 8 months I felt like someone actually GOT IT. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4750081147518887207.post-75044063130850788532011-04-06T22:41:46.189-05:002011-04-06T22:41:46.189-05:00Thanks for this post--I needed to read something h...Thanks for this post--I needed to read something honest and uplifting.
Jan

ps.
